These cases were not treated as academic dishonesty cases, and thestudents were given a chance to do the hand calculation solutions and turn them in.The techniques presented here can be expanded and be included as a supplement for a vibrationanalysis course. MATLAB (which stands for Matrix Laboratory) has extensive matrix analysiscapabilities and the basis of vibration analysis is matrix algebra.
