Jimmy Gandhi, California State University, Northridge Ahmad Sarfaraz, California State University, NorthridgeCalifornia State University, Northridge (CSUN) has a newly introduced undergraduate programin Engineering Management (EM) which will be going up for ABET accreditation in Fall 2015.In this paper, the authors will be discussing the efforts that are being carried out as part of thecontinuous improvement initiative required for ABET accreditation. As part of this work, the authors will research all the undergraduate EM programs across thecountry and then develop a survey of the potential course offerings that the program at CSUNcould have. This survey will then be distributed to students in the undergraduate EM major to actas a voice of customer, to understand the needs of the students and be aware of what courses theywould like to see offered under the EM Domain. Similarly, a survey will also be developed anddistributed to industry professionals at companies who the EM department works with, so thatwe can understand the needs of all the relevant stakeholders.A comparative analysis will be done between the data collected from the student sample as wellas the industry professionals and recommendations will be made as to improvements that can bemade in the course offerings in the EM program at CSUN.
