AB  - With the current curriculum developed and implemented in phases since 2013, it is time to evaluate and review the BSc curriculum. Has the previous revision been able to achieve the goals set out for that revision? Are these goals still valid today from a research and industry perspective? Do current developments, like the energy and autonomy transitions, have sufficient traction and support within the curriculum? All valid questions and not all can be answered positively, requiring some changes to be addressed in the current revision. Within this paper the goals and vision will be discussed as well as current trends in the industry, science and education sciences. This will form the basis for a curriculum revision, followed by a comparison with related education to verify that a sound basis continues to exist. In the discussion relevant consideration for Maritime Education in general will be drawn from this experience to support others in their updates.
