Dr. Leo is a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Click here to see Dr. Leo's homepage. His research interests are focused on the dynamics and control of active material systems. Current projects include electroactive polymer synthesis, modeling, and control; development of hybrid piezoelectric actuation systems; and research in power electronics integration for active materials. He is currently on leave serving as a DARPA program manager.
