Curriculum Exchange: Transforming Teaching through Implementing InquiryThe overall purpose of the Transforming Teaching through Implementing Inquiry(T2I2) project is to offer 7-12 Engineering and Technology Education teachersflexible and practical professional experiences that can immediately be applieddirectly into classroom instruction. The classroom practices are deployed withinthe STEM Center for Teaching and Learning’s Engineering by Design (EbD)national curriculum. In efforts to deepen conceptual STEM-based contentapplications, EbD materials were supplemented for utilization in the project’s pilottest. Mathematics and science target learner proficiencies were highlighted withinthe supplement to simultaneously promote applied STEM learning through anintegrative approach. The exchange includes a development model.
