Raman Unnikrishnan

Dr. Raman (“Unni”) Unnikrishnan is the Dean of the College of Engineering
and Computer Science at California State University, Fullerton. He is active in
teaching and research in the areas of Control Systems, Power Electronics and
Signal Processing. Prior to joining CSUF in 2001 as dean, Dr. Unnikrishnan was
on the faculty of the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York
where he also served as Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research for
the College of Engineering from 1989 to 1991 and as the Head of the Electrical
Engineering Department from 1991 to 2001.
Since 2008 he has been a Commissioner of the Engineering Accreditation
Commission of ABET representing ASEE. In 2008 ABET designated him to
represent the US as a mentor to National Board of Accreditation of India.
Dr. Unnikrishnan is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers.
