Smart Grid development using Modeling, Design, Simulation, and Diagnoses of Electrical Distribution NetworkAbstract:The paper will focus on an already developed smart grid project and promotes new innovationand covers areas in course development, organization and content; laboratory equipment andexperiments; and new ideas in smart grid. The student project has already been developed,implemented and assessed. This work will encourage new innovative ideas in mind that wouldbenefit the life quality electric consumers.Along with this idea a new course organization and contents is developed that covers topics oneducating our students on how to build a smart gird and use advanced computer applicationsoftware to improve and innovate new ideas for modeling, design simulation, and diagnoses ofelectrical distribution systems, especially in the areas of electrical power distribution network.Computer software applications and case studies will be used in the classroom for teaching andresearch in the smart grid in residential, industrial and commercial systems..
