Hugh Jack is a professor of product design and manufacturing engineering at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich. His specialties include automation, design projects, and internet application development.
The 2012 State of Manufacturing EducatorsThe paper reports the results of an annual survey of manufacturing educators. Comparisonsto the 2011 survey results will be provided for comparison. The survey attempts to capturethe general outlook of manufacturing educators, and to determine trends in manufacturingengineering topics. The paper will include a number of comments from educators that will castmore light on individual perspective.
