Abstract

Job prospects in the electric vehicle (EV) sector are expanding, offering well-paying roles that often surpass those in the conventional automotive industry. The U.S. government's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) aims to enhance EV infrastructure and generate employment opportunities. Research indicates a strong need for EV technicians in the U.S. The Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) is a practical approach, particularly for adult learners, to maximize the benefits of training programs. Innovative training techniques for EV technicians, such as digital gaming and augmented reality, offer superior learning experiences. Increased collaboration between government and educational institutions is poised to significantly contribute to the automotive industry's role in economic growth.
