Abstract

Students involved in PLTW had a greater interest in technology (i.e., “I wouldenjoy a job in technology”) at pre-test and post-test. PLTW students perceivedtechnology to be more difficult to understand and use (i.e., “Technology is onlyfor smart people”) at pre-test but not at post-test. This is attributed to the controlgroup rating the difficulty of understanding and using technology greater at post-!test decreasing the discrepancy between the two groups.
