Abstract

For engineering colleges, advisory boards can be like your appendix. Everybody has one, you’re not sure what it does, and it can kill you if it goes wrong. At the University of Idaho, we have changed our board to be a more essential part of the college. People are engaged, they support the college, and get things done for us. Now we are extending the model to the departments.
