online. Specifically, the campus itself was closed to students and faculty alike, resulting in a hands-on laboratory component that shifted to an ad-hoc “kitchen table” video demonstration format. For senior capstone industrial sponsored projects, the team meetings, sponsor interactions, and project presentations were all converted to a “virtual” format. However, the biggest thing I missed was the interaction with the students in the classroom. I felt the environment was not as interactive and the students tended not to be as engaged. many nonhuman beings, forces, and systems which surround and suffusethem, allowing us to address such questions explicitly within our pedagogy.When we teach, we seek to advance generative critiques of engineering, connect to studentvalues, and frame new perspectives about what engineering can be. This is not a minor project,as the work of a wide community of scholars in engineering education can attest (see, forexample, [1] [2] [3]). We find that recent scholarship in Environmental Humanities and Scienceand Technology Studies (STS) offers conceptual tools to help us develop such curricula. He has a broad background in mechanical and electrical engineering, and physiology with specific training and expertise. His work includes mod- eling the cardiovascular system, ventricular assist devices, cardiac physiology, instrumentation systems and leadless cardiac pacing. He help developed and was the inaugural director of a project-based-learning engineering curriculum.
