In the BME Capstonecourse at the University of Virginia, we have instituted several mechanisms for instilling a widearray of non-technical professional skills in BME majors. The culminating experience is a two-semester, team-based senior capstone project, mentored by external biomedical expertsand advised by faculty within the department. The single most
