. Employment growth willbe driven by increasing demand for healthcare and social assistance because of an agingpopulation and longer life expectancies. Employment in administrative support and wastemanagement and remediation services is projected to grow by 31 percent and add 2.5million new jobs to the economy by 2014. Service industries have accounted for almostall U.S. job growth since the 1960’s.
