Due to a lackof trained and educated engineers in the Afghan National Army, the ideal and moretypical source of faculty for NMAA, a cooperative effort with Engineering School atKabul University was established, where their faculty would teach at NMAA as adjunctfaculty. This arrangement provides a much needed second source of income for theKabul University faculty, keeps them working in the educational field, and exposes thefaculty to modern textbooks and teaching methods.
