, activities relating to water treatment and water pollution, and informationregarding sands, clays, and silts relating to underground piping/construction. It is a cheap andeffective system of interactive learning that can be used widely and integrated into schoolingcurriculums without issue. Gender equity is an important dilemma many are faced with today, and WaterMobile tasks itself with destroying barriers such as these and aims to give betterrepresentation to promote diversity and leadership in the workforce. All correlated activities in WaterMobile line up with the New Jersey Core Curriculum ContentStandards in the STEM fields, making it easy to follow and apply. One experiment created todemonstrate the applications of forces of water is named

, a single kit was developed to be purchasedby students upon entering the ME major, with all the components needed for subsequent requiredcourses. Meanwhile, an online repository with sample code, descriptions of components, andtutorials was compiled [4]. This online repository can enable cross-curricular learning, allowingstudents to link knowledge from different courses. Faculty teaching ME courses can use thesesources as supplements for their teaching material—easily implementing hands-on assignmentsthat reinforce theoretical concepts in the course. We formally assessed the use of these kits andonline repository using a pre-post semester survey of students. To capture how the kits impactstudent learning objectives across the curriculum

course management system for linking to content, finding library help, or even the administration of quizzes and/or surveys [3]. These research guides arehighly customizable and share a wealth of information. They can be developed and updated throughout acourse to easily integrate with activities during the semester. As specifically related to standards, aresearch guide linked with senior engineering design courses allows groups working on projects witheasy access to PSUL resources.Idea #2Moving beyond the course management system, engineering faculty and librarians can partner to createinnovative classroom instructional opportunities for students. Bringing in a librarian to talk aboutstandards provides an opportunity to share the librarian’s

in a more controlled or contrived situation. There is some suggestion thatthe behavioristic or neobehavioristic theories may provide some interesting facets ofintegration in new theories along with the information-processing conception which hasbecome more and more popular in recent years. On the other hand, we could defineinstructional theory as an integrated set of principles which prescribe guidelines forarranging conditions to achieve educational objectives. It is assumed that these principleswill be applicable to educational situations in which a teacher is present as well as to thevarious contemporary educational methods implemented primarily through the design ofeducational materials. It is also assumed that instructional theories in

. biomedical engineering)misconduct occurs in both industry and academia – and perhaps even occurs more often inacademia than in industry. (It is perhaps ironic to point out that biomedical engineers are nottypically licensed, and in any case, licenses are typically not required for engineers to teach inacademia.) Looking inward towards the academy, practicing academic integrity during students’formative educational years is often thought of as an engineer’s first steps into the professionalengineering scene. However, such academic integrity practice does not always go well. As notedby the academic integrity scholar Bertram Gallant (2021), academic integrity violations bystudents arise out of “breakdowns in the moral obligations supply chain

follows. • Alternative credentials: micro-credentials, digital badges, and other industry-recognized certificates. • Digital open badge: use of digital technologies to represent competencies and various learning achievements; electronic badges include standard metadata on the evidence of learning and link back to sponsoring institution and evaluation criteria. An open badge has specific technical standards, as dictated by IMS Global. • Certificate: a credential issued by an institution in recognition of the completion of a curriculum that usually represents a smaller domain of knowledge than established degrees. Noncredit certificates need no external approval and must be identified as such

represent an abstract mathematical model of reality in terms of vectors; enabling them todevelop analytical representations and make informed decisions based on predicted outcomes. The 2D space is often easy to represent and can be plotted using cartesian coordinate axeson paper/PowerPoint/chalkboard. This approach has been utilized repeatedly in classesthroughout the curriculum. The resultant skewing of the image is natural, we can quickly adjustto these effects by observing the rectangular shape of the paper/screen which aids us while tryingto interpret the graph. On the other hand, the representation of 3D space is limited because it istypically drawn on a 2D surface with implication of a 3rd axis projected into and out of the board. The
