high failure rates in a first programming course. Most of the failures are associatedwith executing the logic with the proper syntax and the ability to debug. Some educators havesuggested starting out with block building programming tools, where the focus is on problemsolving rather than syntax [10,11]. However, this might be a drawback when coding skills arenecessary in higher-level engineering courses. The final robot weighed 16.5 pounds, soassuming it was moving its top speed of 7 ft/s and came to a full stop in half a second, it wouldexperience a force of 7.18 pounds.
