Higher education faculty and water district engineers will offer presentations detailing the trade-offs between infrastructure/design options, and engineering decisions based on a systematicconsideration of multiple, often competing, criteria. Through guidance from faculty and waterprofessionals, high school students will become aware of hazard mitigation strategies and will developand present their ideas and designs to their classmates, middle school students, and at science fairs.III. Materials
