, aconcept mapping activity was used in order to channel the peer-to-peer interaction towards aframework of knowledge and skills transfer. A concept map is a spatial representation ofconcepts and their interrelationships that is intended to visually represent the structuralknowledge that a learner has stored in long-term memory6-7. The process of building a conceptmap engages the learner with the content and is considered an active learning strategy.
