However, mathematics andscience are inherent to engineering and they form a foundation on which engineering educationis built on. This facilitates the integration of engineering material into P-12 curriculum.Theoretical understandings of how students engage and learn mathematics and science have beenused to shape preliminary thoughts and research studies on P-12 engineering education.
