Physics I courses.2 While calculus and physics are tools to be utilized by engineers to solveproblems, our students are often unable to see that the knowledge presented in the mathematicaland physics context can be transferred to solving engineering problems. Ingram is an Associate Professor of Applied Biology and Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Center for the Practice and Scholarship of Education at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
