The campus has been under development since 1987, buthas seen the most significant growth in the last decade. The College of Textiles was the firstcollege to be located on Centennial, moving into a four-building complex in 1991. This Collegeis made up of two departments, with 50 faculty and approximately 1,000 undergraduates and 100graduate students. Tolley, Ph.D., P.E., is Associate Dean for undergraduate experiences in the Lee College of En- gineering at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Her responsibilities include the introductory en- gineering and engineering technology courses, a large freshman residential learning community and peer retention program, a junior/senior multidisciplinary professional development course, student leadership academy, employer relations and industry-sponsored senior design, and ABET and SACS accreditation.
