technology has changed cheating in face to face classes, it has also affected the potential forcheating in online classes12, 13. Malesky, Baley, and Crow14 conducted an experiment todetermine if instructors could identify a student cheating by contracting out an online course to aringer supplied by a commercial cheating company. They created a pseudo-online course co-taught by two experienced online instructors and recruited students who had already taken thecourse to participate as students for research experience and/or honors credit.
