workplace.Thirty years of social science research have documented that although explicit bias againstwomen and other under-represented groups is far less common today, subtle (or implicit) biasremains rampant. Such studies typically ask subjects to rate identical resumes with a man’s orwoman’s name or names associated with different racial groups.
