students in the study of dynamics, (2) provide engineering context for dynamics students, (3)provide choice to analyze a kinematic project of their interest and (4) introduce students to state-of-the-art motion capturetechnology.Methods Sixty-four dynamics students of various engineering majors ranging, including mechanical, civil, aerospace, andbiomedical engineering, were first introduced to the project through a presentation about the capabilities of the motioncapture technology available at the Human Motion Biomechanics Lab at Cal Poly (Figure 1).
