Professionalism/Work Ethics Teamwork Implement the LEED building certification process Technology • Develop LEED O+M-EB® submittals for GBCI • Implement the LEED building certification processAs shown in Table 2, the majority of outcomes were found to help achieve one or multipleNACE competencies. Moreover, several course outcomes were correlated with each coveredcompetency. This helped the author understand that the particular competency was covered. However, in order to ensure that the covered competencies were appropriately covered by thecourse outcomes, the table was checked with the Ball State University’s Skill Infusion Programrepresentative. After ensuring that the

Research and International Marketing. Committed to academic excellence, she actively contributes to the institution’s strategic planning initiatives and has served as a judge for various prestigious competitions, including The American Marketing Association’s Student Case Competition, Ethics in Leadership, and Marketing Research. Prior to her academic tenure, Dr. Shuayto co-founded Wingme Cosmetics, LLC, where she held the position of Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, she provided visionary leadership, directing the company’s overall administration and spearheading its mission-driven activities. Her responsibilities ranged from representing the CEO in business matters to overseeing operational functions

attribution. This paperdiscusses the ethical and legal implications surrounding AI art generators and copyrights, describes how the AI generators operate, considers the positions in the creative process, andconcludes with suggested best practices for engaging AI art in the architectural design curricula.IntroductionA consensus definition of art within the art community is asymptotic as each artist may have adifferent opinion on what art is. Oxford defines art as “the expression or application of humancreative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producingworks to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power [1].” One might simplifyand suggest that art is a process led by the human mind that

) and for architecturalengineering technology programs overseen by the Accreditation Board for EngineeringTechnology (ABET). The design and construction sectors operate on a profit-driven model, yet the integration ofeconomic analysis in architectural design education remains inadequate. The existing standardsgoverning economic analysis in architectural design, both in professional practice andinstructional activities, suffer from a lack of clarity. This discrepancy is evident in theaccreditation standards set by NAAB for professional programs and ABET for architecturalengineering technology programs. NAAB requires that “SC.2 Professional Practice [1] – How the program ensures that studentsunderstand professional ethics, the regulatory

. Studentsalso improve time and project management, learn to accept constructive feedback, and avoidtaking it personally. Studio courses prepare students for the workforce with intensive, long days.Critical thinking is a central skill in studio courses, as students engage in iterative designthinking and problem-solving. They refine communication skills, whether visual, oral, or written, and practice collaboration and teamwork. Studios offer opportunities to explore professionalism,user-centered design, and workplace ethics, depending on the instructor's approach. In summary, studio courses effectively cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, andcommunication skills, alongside a deep understanding of the design process. How Important is

in upper-level courses.” Key topics in AE 202 are: Psychrometry, thermal comfort, solar environment, heat transfer, heatingload, fire protection, and plumbing. Given the key topics, some of the following learning objectives areavailable to frame individual topics as appropriate: • Demonstrate an understanding of the key topical principles and appropriate applications. • Describe a building system, component or construction process design and how it satisfies the specified needs and constraints. • An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments. • An ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret

concurrent incorporation of multiple decision analysismethods and associated tools. The system architecture enhancements to the currently ABETaccredited curriculum aligns it even stronger with the specified ABET Criterion 3 StudentOutcomes, 2022-2023 shown below [31]: 1. Ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. Ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors. 3. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences. 4. Ability to recognize ethical and professional

the three topics mentioned above into architecture curricula can significantly enhance thequality of structures in earthquake-prone regions. Additionally, several specific subjects wereidentified as essential components of architects' training, including compliance with constructionstandards to ensure ethical work and the safety of human lives, practical application of seismictheory, and the design and construction of earthquake-resistant structures. For future work, it is recommended that similar studies be conducted in other countries with highseismicity to compare the specific needs and challenges in each region. In addition, furtherresearch should be conducted to determine how to effectively implement these topics inarchitectural curricula

coursework. Thereare strong arguments on both sides of this debate. Some believe that the use of artificial intelligenceto complete coursework is an academic integrity violation and should not be used, while othersbelieve artificial intelligence can be used ethically and within academic integrity standards to be aresource for students. And of course, there are academics that stand somewhere in between. Thelack of clarity on the use of AI in the classroom and the disjointed opinions among professors, evenwithin the same college or university, has led to confusion among students on whether ChatGPT istaboo or a powerful tool. To try and understand whether students that are majoring in ArchitecturalEngineering should be introduced to AI Chatbots, a

Additionally, programs respondedto what trends in the AEC industry (or elsewhere) educators should be considering for future capstoneenhancements over the next 10 years. Table 2 provides a key set of these summaries. From a challengeperspective, three discreet trends emerged. One is the students’ work ethic and
