conceptual knowledge through multiple problem-solving experiences.The PBL labs as described in this paper were implemented for the first time in fall of 2019. Thiswork-in-progress paper mainly focuses on the details of the PBL labs developed, theirimplementation, and the challenges identified from the observations and the students’ coursefeedback collected at the end of the semester. The qualitative information described in this paperis based on the student feedback that was collected as a pilot study to determine the feasibility ofthis research and to investigate the initial implementation outcomes.
