300 has standard first-level fluid mechanics content that includes fluid properties,hydrostatics, shear stress, the Bernoulli Equation, control volume analysis, dimensional analysis,and open channel flow. The three credit hour course has enrollment that varies betweenapproximately 90 and 175 students, and is dominated by junior and senior civil engineeringstudents (about 60%), with a smaller percentage of students typically from agricultural andbiological engineering and other engineering disciplines.
