in the areas discussed previously. Programming of this type wasfirst offered as a pilot for Information Sciences and Technology students in 2012-2013 at a sistercampus. The program introduced 20-25 students to alumni/industry experts and recruiters fromseveral local Fortune 500 firms. As a result of the real-world projects, industry lecture series andpanel discussions during the pilot study, 6 students (25%) received offers for and acceptedinternship and/or full-time positions with these organizations. CUPP initiative, but also satisfied theirrequirements for a 3-credit Senior Capstone course, which is a mandatory requirement of theprogram.
