studying, homework problems/questions, projects, and otherwork outside the classroom itself. However, for an OSHA 30 card, 30 of the 37.5 hoursof time in the classroom would have to be devoted to the requisite OSHA topics.Therefore coverage in other areas such as safety training methods, OSHA recordkeeping,worker’s compensation, and safety design/engineering would be compromised because ofthe OSHA requirements. Any educational course is about choices and based on this it ishard to justify the time to grant students an OSHA 30 card within the confines/limits ofthe standard four-year degree.
