This led participants in the TransferableIntegrated Design Engineering Education (TIDEE) consortium to shift their focus fromarticulation between 2-year and 4-year programs12,13,14 to capstone course assessment15,16. With only 3 “decentralized units,” the ambitions of thestudents were limited and projects were also, unsurprisingly, of low quality.
