Generally about 5 companies make a short presentation to at leastone of the PLC classes each semester. As a result, the keyfactors that influence selection of engineering as a career path were investigated and acorrective program to reverse this trend was initiated. Company Reputation/Longevity: To equip students with a measurement tool that they will use throughout their academic career and after, the mobile studio lab instrumentation needs to be robust and of high quality for long-term reliability. It is imperative to choose a company that can supply the volume of devices required for students year-after-year, and has a stature that makes it likely the company will exist for the foreseeable future.
