By meeting at the start of every semester, each institution can be updated on thechanges at the other, ensuring that any planned or proposed curriculum changes are mirrored atthe neighboring school. Issues students encounter while negotiating the transfer process arediscussed. An articulation agreement exists between UTC and ChSCC negating the need forstudents to petition individual courses. Further cementing the relationship, UTC graduates havebecome adjunct professors at ChSCC and ChSCC instructors have become UTC graduatestudents. to promote the design-oriented analysismethodology to the teaching of circuits, and illustrate its effectiveness through a number ofpractical examples that have been compiled for dissemination on the web [10]. This work is aqualitative study of how a design-oriented methodology can help improve students’ success. Inorder to validate our thesis we plan to systematically analyze student’s grades. Based on ourcurrent data, we noticed a 3.37% improvement in the mean student grade over the last twoacademic years. The data collected is presented in figures 1 and 2. Final examresults indicate that there was a significant improvement in student performance on the exam inthe section with the flipped classroom format when compared to final exam performance in atraditional lecture format. In general, the flipped classroom gave students more opportunity tointeract with the microprocessor datasheet and more practice doing computations.
