program and workforce developmentduring the first year of implementation were published in 2019 ASEE conference proceedings. Here, we present the results of the first- and second-year efforts involving the implementation ofthe program (Phase II). Accounts involving students, both scholarship recipients and others, whohave engaged in capstone projects related to the nuclear power industry are also discussed. Thefindings of the first- and second-year assessments on student outreach and educational goals areshared. We provide an update on the status of the program, and summarize lessons learned as aguide for other programs in support of nuclear workforce development.II. is designed to support online coursedevelopment. His application was accepted in Dec. 2018 and he developed the course in spring2019 in collaboration with a professional instructional designer. The course was offered in summer2019. The course demographics, student’s performance results, and student feedback are comparedbetween spring 2019 when the course was taught face-to-face and summer 2019 when it was taughtonline. The student performance indicated that the drop, fail, or withdrawal (DFW) rate was notmeaningfully impacted by the mode of delivery. However, the students’ final GPA in the course(before any form of adjustments or curving), improved from 81/100 in the face-to-face class to 88in the online class. Also, the rate of homework

The assessment data will be usedto improve the course objectives and goals as well as provide feedback to the University’s regionalaccreditation institution, The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Collegesand Schools (SACSCOC). The criteria for accrediting engineering technology programs for 2018-2019 (ABET-ETAC) are in two sections—general and program specific criteria [30]. The generalcriterion 5 describes that the curriculum must effectively develop certain subject areas in supportof student outcomes and program educational objectives [30]. Similarly, ABET-ETAC

-Circuit Voltage (FractionalOCV). The response of PV output power to the changes inenvironmental factors like solar irradiance and temperature was also examined.1. IntroductionSolar energy is clean, free, and abundant. It holds the potential to support a clean, reliable, andmore sustainable energy future. From the years 2000 to 2019, global cumulative installedphotovoltaic (PV) capacity has increased by 632.4 GW [1]. In 2019 alone, 116.9 GW of new PVwas installed. It was estimated that global solar PV installation in 2020 would increaseapproximately 132 GW from 2019. Despite the impact of pandemic on the economy, the UnitedStates installed 11.1 GW of solar PV in the first 9 months of 2020 which is the largest first 9-month total ever [2]. With the
