Product, Process and Business Practices The course centers around the idea of integration of product development, manufacturingsystems and business practices (see Figure 2). Therefore, it adopts a system-based approach,considering not only components (be it machines, processes, or knowledge) necessary inproduction of consumer goods, but also their interactions and impact on each other.
