This raises the question as to whether experiences likeheightened stress or anxiety have become normalized in engineering disciplines such thatstudents are less likely to seek help from a mental health professional.The 2018-2019 Healthy Minds Study (HMS), from which the present study is based, involved asurvey of 60,000 U.S. college students from diverse backgrounds and majors.
