, teams seemed much less receptive to the new workshop format (15%rated as good or very good in winter, versus 36% in fall), despite integrating breakout time forteams during workshops. This drop in student receptiveness may be caused by the workshopformat itself and/or its content. Written comments collected during course-end student feedbackfrom the winter quarter as well as ongoing focus groups with students by the guides will helpdistinguish common source(s) of the student’s lack of receptiveness to the workshops. Frommany group discussions, it appears that the drop may be at least partially attributable to the largeincrease in class size between the fall and winter quarters, as well as a change in roomconfiguration.
