This hypothesis was tested in a controlled experiment at Harvey-MuddCollege, a small, STEM-focused liberal arts college. The introductory engineering course at thecollege teaches discipline-agnostic, mathematical modeling of engineering systems using aflipped classroom with tightly coupled laboratory sessions.
