There are variousCornerstone Projects that have been used in this course: a Windmill System introducing powergeneration, a Water Filtration System based on a partnership with the Metropolitan Sewer District,and the most recent project added to the course was based on an autonomous robot. New projectsare typically tested as a proof of concept first with undergraduate teaching assistants, then in thesummer iteration of ENGR 111.
