the US has been impacted by the 2020 COVID epidemic, resulting in amassive shift to online instruction. Although some universities have managed to keep somenumber of students on campus on a rotating basis, many courses had to switch with little noticeto a virtual format. While this is reasonably easy to do for a lecture-only course, laboratorycourses by their nature are difficult to switch to an online only version. : Robotics Technology in the department of Computer Engineering Technology atCUNY-New York City College of Technology is offered as a technical elective to its senior students. Inaddition to introducing fundamental subjects in both Autonomous Mobile Robot [1] and RoboticManipulator [2], another goal is to prepare students with necessary knowledge and skills for roboticprogramming and design.
