Most have previously attended post-secondary institutions,some in engineering or pre-engineering programs. More than 25% of distance engineeringstudents are active military or veterans, compared to about 12% of all engineering students.Ibrahim and Morsi2 presented one of the earliest comprehensive reviews of distance Electricaland Computer Engineering programs.
