systematically check forprogramming errors when reading source code on line-to-line basis.Research methodology: We designed and implemented four different PCR sessions over thecourse of four weeks in one CS2 classroom. During each week, students were given a piece ofcode covering a specific data structure and were asked to review and find errors in the code. . After producing and submitting the videos, students were then required to perform ananonymous peer review of three classmates’ presentations. Additionally, one graduate student,not responsible for an example video, also performed an assessment of the videos. Finally, thestudents were required to provide guided self-reflections on their communication skills after theyhad completed their videos and performed and received peer reviews. It has been wellestablished that having students reflect on their own learning can enhance the learning process[6]. . Interviewparticipants were selected using a cross-case matching methodology based on their globalpreparedness measure scores (i.e., high vs low scorers). Twenty-five undergraduate engineeringstudents enrolled at the three collaborating universities were interviewed. Based on findings from this pilot study,implications point towards the effectiveness of including simulations for nurse practitionerstudents to increase their confidence in performing telehealth visits and engaging in decisionmaking. As part of an existing project, my team and I have been exploring mechanisms forlearning about student experiences with reflection activities. We created a reaction protocol tounderstand students’ experience, or reactions, with exam wrappers, a common reflection activitygiven in relation to an exam in engineering education (Kaplan et al., 2013). )AbstractResearch has shown that study abroad yields the greatest educational outcomes for interculturalcompetency when it is couched in a curriculum that encourages preparation before and reflectionafter the abroad experience.
