engineering and computer engineering majors take one semester course inmicrocontrollers to learn embedded system developments in their junior year preceded by a Cprogramming course and an electronics course. the capstone courses in the Manufacturing Engineering (MfE) program at Universityof Wisconsin-Stout has focused almost exclusively upon industrial sponsored projects. Thecapstone course is a two semester sequence where the first semester course focuses uponresearch and design of a product and the building of a mock-up.
