The copper block with silvernanoparticles was left out to oxidize for 12 hours. In comparison, the copper block with silvernanowires was left out to oxidize for 24 hours. To begin the procedures for the experiment, a doseof 5 µL of deionized water at a rate of 2 µL/s is dispensed onto the surface. The copper block withsilver nanoparticles required an ARCA (Automatic Advancing and Receding Contact Angle)dispense of 28 µL before polishing, whereas the copper block with silver nanowires required amuch

to broaden their horizons from conventional robots. With an existinginfrastructure of 3D printers, the cost of our methodology is at a minimum; it is solely the price ofthe flexible filament and the price of shipping. Students will gather experience with FDM printingof flexible filaments, iterative design, and hands-on experiments with their robots being off-campus. Our methodology of remote printing of flexible components gives access to roboticsengineering education to students by decoupling the need for access to laboratory equipment.References[1] S. connected to the student’s education, rather than leaving it tothe individual students to independently figure out what the relation is between their co-op workand their coursework [3].One method to assist students in making connections is through written reflections. Suchreflections have been used within particular courses, such as Socha, et al.’s integration ofreflective practices into software engineering [6] and Reidsema and Mort’s use of reflectivewriting in an engineering design course [7]. The integration of reflection into engineeringeducation in a broader sense was studied by Turns, et al. [8], and recent work by Badenhorst, etal. [9] described reflective writing as a specific “new literacy” for engineering students.Furthermore, reflective

Discussion and conclusionsThe capability of students to attend construction sites in contingency situations, is fundamentalfor the completion of the academic goals of the Civil Engineering curricula. It´s important thatthe students recognize this and the importance of the opportunity of experiencing these activitiesin challenging times. From the previous results we can state

I was able to apply what Ilearned in my engineering courses to achieve my design goals. I was able to combine suchsubjects as digital design, embedded systems, electronic systems, digital signals processing, andphysics. I also honed practical skills like soldering, putting together breadboards andprogramming in C.
