This allowed introduction of stricterstandards than “good standing”. The most significant change in the School of Engineering andComputer Science was that background, preparation for the desired major and goodperformance (grades) in that background were the main factors in such decisions. In theSchool of Management, the focus was on preparation in Mathematics (having completedApplied Calculus
