Decker proposes thatService-Learning as a means for “Professional Activism,” [15] where engineers will setaside a portion of their professional practice for service, similar to physicians andlawyers. Use of the interview allows the investigator topursue the answer to a number of open-ended questions from a variety of stakeholders.
