of renewable energyconsumption. It is the hope that driving down the cost of renewable energy systems will allowthe technology to become more accessible around the world. In solar cells, the reflected light iswasted energy. By producing silicon nanowires (SiNWs) through Metal Assisted ChemicalEtching, or the MACE process, the reflectivity can be reduced to near zero. Our researchhighlights the process of analyzing silicon nanowire data to optimize the production of SiNWsthrough the MACE process. The primary focus of the research involved analyzing the effect ofetching time and etchant concentration on the refractive index and the reflectivity of the SiNWsamples. This was achieved by collecting Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images

engineering students’ ability to problem solve andapply theories to practical applications. Statics course is considered one of the core courses and thechallenging courses for students in the fields of Mechanical, Civil, Environmental Engineering.Think-Pair-Share TPS pedagogy was adopted as a teaching tool in this course to enhance students’ability to understand the course contents. TPS is one of the active learning methodologies thatshowed promising outcomes in the field of education. However, its influence on the engineeringfield in general and Statics course in specific is still ambiguous and yet to be explored. Thequantitative method approach was used in collecting and analyzing the data. The study showed thatthis interactive pedagogy reflected

following models prove to be most worthwhile: (a) coursework within engineering and acrossother fields, (b) experiential learning opportunities, (c) stand-alone programs for engineeringstudents and/or multi-disciplinary stand-alone entrepreneurship programs25, 29. Althoughdifferences in views exist, Hagvall Svensson et al., have provided two general routes for enhancingentrepreneurial learning30. Irrespective of the instructional model, these researchers recommendmaking learning more personal and more professional as key strategies for strengtheningentrepreneurial skill development among engineering students30.The nuances of an entrepreneurial engineering identity reflect yet another emergent topic inengineering education. A key component of this

experience have you had with computer programming? Anything with Python specific? If not, that is expected. We start from the beginning. This just helps me with team design.Notice the wide array of topics to put students at ease while also gathering some poten-tially serious and always impactful information. Lead with easy questions, then some re-flective questions (career), and then move to the serious (concerns/fears/passions), thenfinish with a competency reflection. Open-ended questions often provide valuable infor-mation about student identity and gives them ownership of what and how much to share[Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning(2021)]. It helps to also provide some commentary about the purpose of the question

completing the quiz revealed how students would approach a problem. To ensure that the quiz accurately reflected the acquired knowledge, it was recommended that students refrain from using the internet to assist with quiz solutions. Additionally, students suggested that quizzes be shortened and that additional "hints" or directions be provided for the quiz.Figure 4. Coded responses and frequencyfor lab component.
