After the summer of 2024, REU Students were asked to rank the following six programcomponents: a) Integrated learning communities, b) Weekly Research, c) Field Trips, d) My WindResearch Video, e) Poster Presentation and f) Conference Attendance. Their top rankings were field trips,research projects, and integrated learning communities tend to be ranked higher because they provideopportunities for networking, hands-on learning, and collaboration. Weekly seminars were consistentlyranked lower due to their perceived lack of
