ReflectionIn this work-in-progress paper, we suggest that the evaluation of undergraduate research experiences canbe adapted to serve as a useful tool for supporting student learning. Specifically, we argue thatundergraduate research can foster transformative learning, but one key element of this experientiallearning–reflection–can be difficult to integrate into the programs[1], [2]. Indeed, even for programs thatforeground experiential learning, such as service-learning and study abroad, it can be difficult to integratereflection effectively[3].
