The SEM samples were prepared by sputter coating, Denton Vacuum, with Pttarget at 40 milli amps for 35 s resulting in a 7-8 nm conductive film. The SEM was runat 3.5 KV at a 11mm working distance in high vacuum. In order to assess the impact of themultidisciplinary experience on the students, a set of pre- and post-course surveys weredeveloped and administered.
